Dog Collars

Orders are closed so I can get caught up!

The website does not yet reflect coming changes, but… I will no longer be offering one layer collars unless the neck size is below 14”. Heart Dog does not charge extra for a double layer collar regardless of size! There is only an upcharge if you want an added border treatment such as crystals, spots, or a combination. I have not yet had time to update the site to reflect this change, but expect that any collars will NOT be made single layer if they are over 14”. There are several reasons why I will no longer make the larger collars in one layer. One, I want you to have a good value for your money! In my opinion, a single layer collar on a large dog is just not going to wear as well. Two, hair gets caught in the reverse side of the collar on single layers because of the rivets. Even when hammered flat, these are going to “grab” hair and can potentially irritate the skin. Three, your collar is going to look better and last longer with a base that is separate from the design panel.

Forever (1.75" Panel)

Pictured is the Forever (1.75”) on brown leather with mixed metal hardware. Primarily Nickel hardware with a brass accent hardware around the Sun. Single layer with a taper to 1” at the buckle. Crystals used are Fire Opal, Citrine and Capri Blue. This collar uses all 20ss crystals except for the sinlge 40ss center crystal. Scroll down to see more examples of this collar.

Forever was named after one VERY special dog, Ever. Forever started out as a new custom design request with a sun and celestial feel to it.

The Forever is a 1.75” wide design that can be created as a single layer collar (as pictured), or a double layer collar. Since the collar is 1.7″ wide, it can be tapered to 1.5” 1.25” or 1″ at the buckle area to reduce to the bulk under the dog’s chin. This design may be able to be lengthened or shortened as needed for your dogs neck size. This may cause a variation in the pattern.

Don’t Worry, once you add the item to your cart a pop up window will open where you can edit the details of your collar. For now just choose if you would like single or double layer, and the neck size category your dogs neck measurement falls into.
